Engine: Volvo MD2030D freshwater-cooled three-cylinder marine diesel engine mounted under cockpit steps. The advanced design of the engine delivers 5-7 knots with very low vibration levels thanks to a dynamically balanced heavy flywheel and rubber insulation. High torque through the MS2A reverse gearing offers excellent characteristics for manoeuvering. The engine drives a folding three-bladed propeller and a 12-volt alternator to charge three lead acid batteries housed in a plastic battery box. A 10 Amp battery charger is linked to the shore power system. The system includes three isolation switches and a fused distribution board.

Hull: A GRP hull moulding is bonded to an internal moulding of complex shape reinforcing the hull and supporting the chain plates, keel, rudder, engine, internal bulkheads and mast compression post. The deck is a composite GRP and balsa structure with teak laid on decks, cockpit sole, seats and transom.

Deck gear: Wheel steering from pedestal in cockpit, with blue canvas cover, 16kg anchor with 8 mm chain and electric windlass, kedge anchor and 6mm chain in cockpit locker. Inflatable dinghy and 2.5hp Suzuki outboard motor. Blue sprayhood.
